Utilities Superintendent Kenny Dearing retired July 31, 2008 after 11 years of service.

JOE DUNAWAY JR – UTILITIES SUPERINTENDENT

Joe joined the Flemingsburg Wastewater department in October of 1996 as a plant operator trainee. He transferred to City Hall as a computer operator in July of 2000 and served in that position for one year. In August of 2001 he transferred to the Flemingsburg Utilities department as a plant operator trainee. Joe was promoted to Superintendent in August of 2008.

 

 

ROBERT APPLEGATE – PLANT OPERATOR II

Rob joined Flemingsburg Utilities in February of 2004 as a plant operator trainee.

 

 
   

DAVID SHROUT - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE

David joined the Flemingsburg Utilities System in June 2006.

 

 

JASON SYCK - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE

Jason joined the city as a temporary utility employee and was hired full-time in June of 2006. His primary duty is reading meters. Jason is also a member of the volunteer Fire Dept.

 

MIKE BROWN - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE

Mike was hired in April 2007. His primary duty is reading meters.

CAROL GAST – UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER

Carol joined Flemingsburg Utilities in February of 1984 as Utilities Clerk. cgast@altiusbb.com

SARAH FARROW – UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER

Sarah joined Flemingsburg Utilities in August of 2001 as a clerk/cashier. smkielman@altiusbb.com
